Job summary
Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 7 Dermatology Surgical Clinical Nurse Specialist to join the Dermatology Service at Bedford Hospital. You will lead nurse-led clinics, assess and manage complex dermatology patients, and contribute to skin cancer pathways within an experienced MDT.

Qualifications
- NMC registered nurse with current live registration.
- nurse must hold a relevant degree in Nursing Studies/Health Sciences.
- completion or willingness to undertake a specialist Dermatology course.
- advanced communication skills training.
- teaching and assessment qualification desirable.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate nurse-led dermatology clinics including assessment, treatment and follow-up.
- conduct comprehensive patient assessments and plan/evaluate care.
- support diagnosis and management of complex dermatological conditions.
- collaborate with Consultants and MDT to maintain high standards of care.
- provide specialist wound management and post-operative follow-up.
- support patients through skin cancer pathways and ensure continuity of care.
