Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Procedure Nurse to join our dermatology team in Lancashire. The role involves supporting clinicians with biopsies and excisions, ensuring high standards of patient care and clinical safety. Key responsibilities include assisting with minor surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment, and providing both pre‑ and post‑procedure patient support. The ideal candidate will be a Registered Nurse (NMC) with experience in dermatology or minor surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with biopsies and excisions, ensuring safety, precision, and patient comfort.
  • Maintain infection control standards and prepare equipment for procedures.
  • Provide patient care before, during, and after procedures, including aftercare guidance.
  • Accurately document patient notes and procedural outcomes.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (NMC) qualification.
  • Experience supporting dermatology procedures, particularly biopsies and excisions.
