Job summary

LEO Pharma UK is seeking a Senior Medical Advisor to lead medical strategies for our dermatology portfolio in the UK, advancing scientific excellence and shaping patient outcomes. You will act as a trusted scientific partner, collaborating across medical, commercial, global and regional teams to drive brand excellence and scientific exchange.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in medicine, pharmacy, or life sciences.
• GMC/GPhC Registration and Medical Signatory status.
• Expert knowledge of ABPI and UK regulatory frameworks.
• Significant medical affairs expertise and scientific credibility in dermatology.
• Ability to operate in a commercially focused organisation.
• Experience in design, implementation, and interpretation of real-world evidence (RWE).
• Experience developing medical strategies and delivering tactical plans.
• Launch medicine experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Developing and executing medical strategies aligned with UK/global priorities.
• Building relationships with Key External Experts through meetings and congresses.
• Leading clinical activities including Investigator Initiated Studies and patient recruitment.
• Partnering with marketing/global/regional teams to develop scientific materials.
• Designing, generating and interpreting real-world evidence to inform medical strategy.
• Monitoring competitor data, publications, and clinical developments to inform planning.
