Job summary

CHEC invites applications for a Dermatology Doctor to join our expanding community dermatology services in New Cross. The role offers permanent, part-time days with clinical autonomy to deliver high-quality, end-to-end adult dermatology care outside hospital settings.

Qualifications

• Valid GMC registration and licence to practice in the UK.
• Experience diagnosing and treating dermatology conditions.
• Strong communication with patients and colleagues, both written and verbal.
• Understanding of current dermatology guidelines and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse dermatology caseload in the community setting.
• Use dermoscopy to examine and monitor skin lesions.
• Perform minor skin procedures including cyst/mole/skin tag excisions.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and skin care, and counsel on prevention.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintain accurate, confidential records in line with GMC guidance.
