Job summary

Locum People is seeking a Dermatology Consultant to work in Surrey on a long‑term basis, commencing with a 3–6 month locum period with potential extension. The post requires 40+ hours per week with on‑call duties to be confirmed.

The successful candidate will be on the Specialist Register and GMC registered, with the right to work in the United Kingdom and must provide details for two referees.

Qualifications

• Must be on the Specialist Register.
• Fully GMC registered.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.
• Provide contact details for two referees who can be contacted for reference.

Responsibilities

• Conduct new and follow‑up outpatient consultations, assessing, diagnosing and managing a wide range of dermatological conditions.
• Participate in specialist dermatology clinics, including skin cancer, inflammatory dermatoses and other sub‑specialties as required.
• Perform minor surgical procedures during day‑case theatre sessions, including excisions and biopsies.
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient care.

• 10 PA (Practice Associates) per week
• On‑call duties – timing to be confirmed
