Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience managing finances such as account reconciliation.
• Knowledge of Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Mental Health Act 2007.
• Experience of managing varied case loads with changing demands.

Responsibilities

• Manage caseload distributed by the Team Manager.
• Submit applications to the Court of Protection.
• Consult with and represent the Council in interactions with statutory bodies.

Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work independently

Experience in benefits and/or Court of Protection work

Analytical skills

Experience with complex case loads

Education

Educated to degree level or equivalent experience

Recognised professional qualification with APAD
