Purpose:

Support vulnerable adults who lack capacity to manage their finances, ensuring their independence and best interests are protected.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage caseloads of deputyship and appointeeship clients
  • Prepare applications for Court of Protection and DWP
  • Handle banking, tax returns, and benefits
  • Liaise with internal teams and external agencies (e.g., OPG, HMRC, banks)
  • Advise stakeholders on legal and financial processes
  • Review client finances and arrange necessary services (e.g., funerals)
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding, equality, and policies
