With steady growth and exciting new projects ahead, we're expanding our team and looking for a motivated Deputy Warehouse Supervisor to support operations at our busy Wallsend site.

The Opportunity:

As Deputy Warehouse Supervisor, you'll work alongside the Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the smooth, safe, and efficient running of the site. It's a hands‑on position where you'll combine forklift operation, inventory control, and team coordination to ensure materials and equipment are managed and dispatched to meet offshore project demands.

You’ll also benefit from industry‑recognised training, including:

  • Forklift Enhanced Training (FLT)
  • Rigging & load securing
  • Plant operations
  • Offshore logistics and professional certifications

This role is ideal for someone with FLT experience who’s ready to take the next step in their career and grow into a supervisory position with clear progression to Warehouse Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support day‑to‑day warehouse and logistics operations in line with offshore project schedules.
  • Operate FLTs (Counterbalance and/or Reach) to move, load, and organise stock safely.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring materials are prepared for dispatch accurately and on time.
  • Maintain and update stock records using Excel (transitioning to a dedicated inventory management system soon).
  • Liaise with logistics, procurement, and offshore coordination teams to ensure materials and equipment meet operational needs.
  • Uphold high standards of safety, organisation, and housekeeping.
  • Deputise for the Warehouse Supervisor when required, supporting leadership and workflow management.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Valid Counterbalance or Reach FLT licence (RTITB or ITSSAR accredited).
  • Valid UK Driving Licence.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, or logistics environment.
  • Confident with Excel and general IT systems.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A proactive, safety‑conscious approach and willingness to learn.
  • Eager to progress within a specialist offshore logistics setting.
