Deputy Ward Manager

Ward 10 is a 26 bedded acute gastroenterology unit based in the tower block on the second floor in the Aintree site.

Our experienced team of medical and nursing staff treat a diverse range of conditions including liver and the treatment/diagnosis of conditions affecting the gastrointestinal tract and digestive system.

Main Duties of the Job
  • To support the ward manager and the wider team.
  • Developing leadership skills.
  • Working closely with the MDT.
  • Sickness and absence management.
  • Rostering.
  • Supporting with training compliance and education.
  • Working relationships with HR department.
  • Maintaining quality and safety.
