Job summary

Priory is seeking a Senior Ward Manager to provide senior nursing leadership and support the Ward Manager in daily ward operations. The role requires leading and supervising nursing staff, supporting their development and performance, and acting as a shift leader to ensure safe staffing and high patient care standards.

Experience in a relevant clinical specialty, clinical supervision, and prior leadership roles are essential, with active NMC registration.

• Active NMC registration.
• At least 18 months2 years post-registration experience.
• Experience within a relevant clinical speciality.
• Experience providing clinical supervision.
• Previous leadership or senior nursing experience.
• Trained Assessor/Supervisor.
• Experience supporting staff development, appraisals and CPD.
• Experience working within a mental health or learning disability setting.
