Main duties of the job

As Deputy Ward Sister, you will support the leadership and day-to-day management of the ward, regularly taking charge and ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality patient care.

You will act as a professional role model, providing clinical leadership, supporting staff development, and contributing to both clinical and non-clinical governance initiatives.

Working closely with the Ward Sister and multidisciplinary team, you will help maintain and improve care standards, drive service development, and promote evidence-based practice to achieve the best outcomes for patients.
