Salary: £45,624 - £52,038 per annum

Working Hours: 37 hours per week

We are seeking a committed individual to join us as a Deputy Manager in the CLS Team 3.

Are you an experienced Senior Social Worker looking for a new challenge? We are looking for a qualified practitioner who is experienced, confident, creative, and empowered to promote change and positive outcomes for adults and who will be committed to our journey of continuing improvement. If you are passionate about the outcomes for adults, committed to direct work and want to make a difference in the life of adults, we want to hear from you!

This role is an exciting opportunity to help support and deputise for the Team Manager and contribute to the Community Led Support (CLS) Team 3 within the Adults, and Health Directorate of the Council. You will be required to provide support for adults and a multi-disciplinary team of Care and Health Professionals.

Responsibilities
  • To safeguard vulnerable adults.
  • To provide high quality, research-based casework service to all Adult Social Care service users and hold cases that consist mainly of the most complex situations.
  • To offer consultation, support, specialist advice and joint working to colleagues within Adult Social Care.
  • To promote independent living where safe to do so.
  • To comply with and promote legislation, statutory guidance and local policies and procedures.
Qualifications

Essential qualifications: Must hold a relevant Social Work Qualification, be Registered with Social Work England (SWE) and have at least 2 years post-qualifying experience.

DBS Check: Enhanced Level with Adults Barred List is required for this post.
