The Range in Bridgwater is seeking a Deputy Store Manager (Shop Floor) to lead daily store operations and inspire a high-performing team. You will play a pivotal role in delivering a welcoming, well-stocked and well-run shopping experience for our customers.

You will coach colleagues, drive sales and labour productivity, manage stock and rota planning, and deputise for the Store Manager when needed. A passion for service and strong leadership are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail supervisory or management role.
• Strong leadership and people development skills.
• Passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• Good commercial awareness and understanding of retail KPIs.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

• Conduct regular shop floor walks, identifying opportunities to improve service and sales.
• Support recruitment, training, performance management and succession planning.
• Deputise for the Store Manager when required and confidently lead the Store operation.
