Overview

We are excited to offer the opportunity for a Deputy Sister/Charge Nurse role within Unscheduled care which consists of AAU/AMU/SDEC to aid in providing high quality compassionate care to our patients.

You will be supported by a Ward Sister and Clinical Matron in your development within your leadership role.

You will be experienced in leading and coordinating shifts and be able to demonstrate problem solving skills and an ability to develop staff skills and competencies.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate shifts in Unscheduled care (AAU/AMU/SDEC) and demonstrate problem solving skills with the ability to develop staff skills and competencies.
  • Full time hours required, with a mixture of days/nights and weekends. Flexible working patterns will be considered for all nursing applicants.
  • The Band 6 role is the key supporting function to the Band 7 to enable the optimal care of patients and to the success of our Trust.
  • The delivery of a high quality, effective and compassionate care is the most important role within the organisation.
