Deputy SENDCO – Camden Secondary School – September 2024

We are looking for a well-qualified and committed Deputy SENDCO for September 2024. This is an excellent opportunity to join a confident, ambitious, and successful school. Main Responsibilities include:

  • Implementing the school's SEND policy within your area.
  • Leading and managing interventions for SEND/EAL students.
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of interventions based on outcomes.
  • Supporting and managing a team of learning support assistants working directly with students with SEND.
  • Collaborating with staff across the school to ensure high-quality SEND provision.
  • Maintaining an accurate SEND register and provision map, ensuring statutory compliance.
  • Reviewing and updating Education and Health Care Plans (EHCPs) with students, parents, and agencies.
  • Ensuring exam access arrangements for students with SEND are implemented.
  • Analyzing assessment data and exam results to ensure excellent progress for students with SEND.
