Deputy Room Manager Stanmore, Immediate Start

Salary: £30,000 Per annum

We are currently seeking a caring and enthusiastic Deputy Room Manager to join a friendly and supportive nursery based in Stanmore. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about early years education and child development.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for supporting the daily care, learning, and development of children within the setting, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment.

Requirements:
  • Level 3 qualification (or higher) in Early Years Education / Childcare (essential).
  • Proven experience working in a Early Years or nursery setting, ideally in a senior or supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) framework and child development principles.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a small team, supporting the Room Leader and stepping in when required.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Confident in planning and delivering age‑appropriate learning experiences.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, health and safety, and Ofsted standards.
  • Warm, nurturing, and professional approach towards children, parents, and colleagues.
  • A Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding certificate (desirable but not essential).
  • Reliable, flexible, and enthusiastic with a genuine passion for early childhood education.
