Job description

Link3 is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Deputy Room Leader to join one of our nursery groups in SE13, London. You will work closely with the Room Leader to ensure the smooth running of daily activities, support staff, and deliver an outstanding learning experience for the children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Room Leader in planning and implementing engaging activities for children.
• Lead the room in the absence of the Room Leader.
• Supervise and mentor nursery staff, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
• Ensure the safety, welfare, and development of all children.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with nursery policies and regulatory standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• Level 3 and above qualification in early years and childcare
• Proven experience in a nursery setting, ideally as a Room Leader or Deputy Room Leader.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• A passion for early years education and childcare.
• Relevant qualifications in childcare or early years education.
