The Winch invites a Deputy Play Manager to lead its after-school and Holiday Play Schemes for children aged 4–11. You will work with the Play Manager and wider team to plan, deliver and evaluate high-quality play provision, while modelling positive relationships with children and families.

You will supervise and develop staff and volunteers, manage bookings and fees, and ensure safeguarding and health & safety standards are met, including Ofsted compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 in Play Work or equivalent; EYFS knowledge preferred.
• At least three years’ experience working with children aged 4–11.
• Experience meeting Ofsted requirements and safeguarding responsibilities.
• Ability to plan, lead and evaluate play provision with staff and volunteers.

Responsabilités

• Deliver high-quality Play provision for children aged 4–11.
• Lead and manage staff, volunteers and partners.
• Plan an EYFS-focused programme to support reception transitions.
• Manage parent fees, registrations and maintain accurate records.
