Competitive starting salary range from £33,403 up to £37,606 (dependent on experience) with the potential to progress. A discretionary range for candidates with exceptional experience can be discussed/considered.

We're looking for an organised, proactive and highly capable Deputy Manager join our Office for Teaching & Learning (OTL). This is a varied and influential role supporting key student success initiatives, including the Centre for Academic Writing (CAW) and SIGMA (our Maths Support Centre), which help students achieve their full potential.
Reporting into senior leadership, you'll play a central role in ensuring the smooth operation of the department through effective administration, coordination and resource management.
What You'll Be Doing
You will be an experienced and highly organised professional with a track record of providing high-level administrative support within complex and fast-paced environments. Educated to degree level, or with equivalent professional experience, you will be confident managing competing priorities, supporting senior leaders and delivering excellent service to a wide range of stakeholders.
You will possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to gather, interpret and present both qualitative and quantitative information to support decision-making. Experience of budget management and financial monitoring is essential, alongside advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. You will be an excellent communicator, able to build positive working relationships and engage professionally with colleagues, students, senior leaders and external partners.
