Job summary

Bright Horizons Frimley Green Day Nursery is seeking a Deputy Manager to lead a dedicated team and ensure high standards of care and education. You will act as Designated Safeguarding Lead, overseeing safeguarding and day-to-day operations while driving staff development and partnership working with families.

The position requires Level 3+ Early Years qualifications and proven leadership experience within an Early Years setting.

Qualifications

• Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
• Experience in an Early Years leadership role (Deputy Manager/Assistant Manager/Third in Charge)
• Experience with regulatory inspections and achieving a Good/Outstanding outcome
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and child protection understanding

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team to deliver high-quality care and education
• Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead and oversee safeguarding policies
• Support succession planning, staff training, and professional development plans
• Manage partnerships with parents, Local Authority, and other professionals and contribute to nursery budgets and occupancy growth
