Job summary

Bright Horizons Maidenhead Day Nursery and Preschool is seeking a Deputy Manager to lead a dedicated team delivering outstanding early years care and education in Maidenhead. You will act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead, oversee daily operations and safeguarding compliance, and drive staff development and parent partnerships.

The role requires a Level 3+ Early Years qualification and leadership experience, with a focus on maintaining safety, quality, occupancy and budgets in a busy nursery

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Experience in an Early Years leadership role (Deputy/Assistant/Third in Charge).
• Experience with regulatory inspections and Good or Outstanding outcomes.
• Confident decision maker with leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of Safeguarding and Child Protection laws.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and inspire a team to deliver high-quality care and education.
• Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead and manage safeguarding policies.
• Contribute to budgets, occupancy growth and retention strategies.
• Develop partnerships with parents, staff and professionals.
