Deputy Nursery Manager - Maternity Cover (Fixed Term 1 year)

Are you a nurturing, organized, and experienced early years professional ready to take the next step in your career? We're looking for a Deputy Nursery Manager to join our warm and welcoming residential-based nursery in the heart of Queen's Park.

This is a fixed-term maternity cover role, offering the chance to work in a beautifully homely setting with children aged 1-4 years, where every day is filled with curiosity, creativity, and care.

Job Details

• Location: Queen's Park, London NW6
• Start Date: January 2026
• 20 per hour 8am-6pm Monday to Friday (1-hour lunch)

About the Role

As Deputy Nursery Manager, you'll work closely with the Nursery Manager to ensure smooth daily operations, lead a team of passionate practitioners, and maintain a safe, stimulating, and loving environment for our little learners.

You’ll also take the lead on administrative tasks, so confidence with office systems and organisation is key.

What We're Looking For

• CACHE Level 3 qualification (minimum)
• At least 2 years experience in a similar senior or leadership role
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
• Confident with admin and nursery management systems
• A warm, personable, and professional approach
