The Role – Deputy Manager

As Deputy Manager, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the Nursery Manager to lead the setting and ensure the highest standards of childcare are delivered every day.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Assisting in the overall management of the nursery
  • Leading, mentoring, and developing the staff team
  • Ensuring the nursery meets the highest standards of safeguarding and early years practice
  • Building strong partnerships with families and providing outstanding customer care
  • Leading by example and creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for children
Requirements
  • Minimum Level 3 in Early Years and Education (full and relevant)
  • Proven nursery management or childcare leadership experience
  • Paediatric First Aid (preferred, training can be provided)
  • DSL qualification (preferred)
  • A strong record of ongoing training and professional development
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
  • A genuine passion for early years care and education
