Job summary

Role: Deputy Nursery Manager

Location: Central London

Salary: 20 per hour

Hours: Full-time, 8:00:00pm

Contract: Permanent, starting 2026

About the Role

We are currently working with a nursery in Central London looking for an experienced Deputy Nursery Manager. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organised, and ready to support all aspects of nursery life‑from creating schedules and managing administration to on the floor and opening/closing the nursery. You will help foster children's development, maintain a safe and nurturing environment, and ensure the nursery runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Nursery Manager with day‑to‑day nursery operations
  • Run the nursery floor, engage with children, and support staff
  • Prepare schedules and rotas
  • Perform administrative duties and general office work
  • Open and close the nursery, ensuring safety and compliance
