£50,000 per annum, 40 hours per week | Monday - Friday

Claire at Amber Mace is recruiting for an experienced Clinical Deputy Manager to join a large, well‑established nursing and residential service in the Telford area, providing high‑quality complex care to older adults and individuals with varying clinical needs. The service is proud to hold a Good CQC rating across all domains and is known for its warm, team‑focused culture.

The Role

As Clinical Deputy Manager, you'll play a key leadership role in supporting the Registered Manager to maintain exceptional care standards, ensure clinical compliance, and develop a high‑performing team. The position is part supernumerary and part clinical, allowing you to combine hands‑on care with leadership and governance responsibilities.

  • Support and deputise for the Registered Manager in their absence
  • Lead and mentor the nursing and care teams, promoting evidence‑based practice
  • Oversee complex care delivery and ensure robust clinical governance
  • Work one day per week on the floor, supporting and guiding the team
  • Collaborate with a wider management team, including another Deputy and Senior Nurse roles
  • Drive quality improvement and uphold regulatory standards
About You

We're seeking an approachable, motivated, and clinically astute nurse with strong leadership skills and a passion for high‑quality care.

Essential Requirements
  • NMC Registered Nurse (Active PIN)
  • Experience managing or supervising clinical teams within a nursing home or similar environment
  • Knowledge of complex care (or willingness to complete relevant training)
  • Confident in using care planning systems and managing clinical audits
  • Resilient, reliable, and committed to long‑term service development
  • Must live within approx. 40 minutes of the Telford area
