This is a predominantly Monday-Friday, supernumerary position (42 hours per week) with occasional clinical shifts and participation in the on‑call rota. Responsibilities
- Working alongside the Registered Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day running of the home.
- Providing hands‑on clinical leadership to ensure safe, person‑centred care.
- Guiding and developing a talented team of nurses and carers.
- Maintaining full compliance with CQC regulations and safeguarding requirements.
- Conducting audits, reviewing care plans, and leading staff supervisions.
- Creating a positive, inclusive culture for residents, relatives, and colleagues alike.
- Stepping into a clinical role when needed to ensure seamless care delivery.
Qualifications
- NMC Registered Nurse qualification (RGN or RMN).
- Experience in older adults’ care and nursing home environments.
- Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of regulatory frameworks.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
