The Deputy Managing Editor is essential to Skift’s mission of providing the most timely, and insightful coverage of the global travel industry. With our audience spanning every corner of the world, this role ensures that Skift’s editorial engine is running at full strength during EMEA hours, a critical window for global news and market activity.
You’ll be the editorial anchor that keeps our daily publishing cycle sharp, consistent, and impactful. By elevating story quality, guiding reporters, and shaping pitches into compelling journalism, you’ll directly influence how executives, policymakers, and innovators understand the travel industry’s biggest trends.
This is a fully remote role within the UK region.
We’re a fully distributed newsroom; clear writing and asynchronous collaboration are essentials. Expect rigorous editing and the freedom to chase ambitious scoops.
