Dawlish House (opening 2026) is a 3-bed children residential home Coventry South, specialising in children age 8-17 (any gender) living with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).As we prepare to embark on this new adventure, we are seeking an experienced and passionate Deputy Manager to support the RM to lead the service from the ground up- contributing to the design of the home and the service, recruiting and shaping the team, forging partnerships with the commissioners.

About You

As Deputy Manager, you will play a key leadership role in our new children's residential home. Supporting the Registered Manager, youll lead a team of passionate care professionals and help deliver a high standard of care, safety, and emotional support for each young person in your home.

Youll act as a role model to the team, uphold regulatory compliance, and help drive continuous improvement in care standards, safeguarding practices, and team performance.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Support the Registered Manager with audits, planning, and day-to-day running of the service
  • Oversee risk management, safeguarding, and care plan reviews
  • Provide supervision and guidance to care staff, promoting a supportive culture
