Are you an experienced Senior or Deputy who thrives in structure, challenge, and meaningful change?
Do you want to support young people who need a stabilising environment before moving on to long-term placements?
Do you enjoy combining therapeutic practice with outdoor activity, routines, and firm boundaries?
Are you ready for a leadership role with no sleep-ins, no night shifts, and a clear pathway to Registered Manager?
Then this could be for you…
This is a rare opportunity to step into a specialist short‑term intervention service, offering intensive 7‑12‑week placements for young people aged 8‑18 who require stabilisation following breakdown, crisis, or unsafe environments.
You’ll be part of a fast‑paced, structured, highly supportive service designed to build resilience, restore routines, and prepare each young person for their next long‑term placement. If you’re calm under pressure, able to lead with compassion and boundaries, and want a role where you see rapid, meaningful impact – this environment will suit you perfectly.
A specialist Activity & Intervention Service delivering structured short‑term placements (typically 7‑12 weeks). Supports children with EBD who require stabilisation, routine, and intensive support before a long‑term placement. Highly structured, high‑energy environment focused on consistency, emotional regulation, and behavioural stabilisation. Young people arrive with limited access to personal items (e.g. phones) to promote safety, structure, and engagement.
Strong emphasis on outdoor activities, confidence building and positive routines, but the role remains care‑and‑behaviour focused (not an activity coordinator role). Operated by a well‑established provider offering excellent internal progression, strong leadership, and high‑quality training. Supportive management culture, transparent, open, and focused on staff development. Deputies here play a critical role in behaviour support, structure, and supporting transitions into new placements.
As Deputy Manager, you will support the Home Manager with all operational, behavioural, and staffing aspects across the service. Your work will directly impact a young person’s ability to stabilise, progress, and transition safely.
If you’re ready to lead a new service with autonomy, support, and meaningful progression, I’d love to hear from you. Apply now or send your CV referencing the job title and location to:
