Qualifications

  • Experience in a Deputy Assistant Manager or Senior RSW role within residential childcare.
  • Understanding of safeguarding legislation and leadership within a care home environment.
  • Full UK Driving Licence (Manual Essential).
  • Fluent in English with strong communication and IT skills.

Deputy Manager Childrens Residential Home
Location: Leigh
Provision: Childrens Residential Home (Ages 7‑17 EBD & Mild Learning Difficulties) – This is a New Home for an Established Provider
Hours: 48 hours per week, days only rolling rota (you will manage the rota including your own shifts) – Sleep will be required
Salary: 38600 per annum
About the Role

Are you an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker or Deputy Manager ready to step up and lead a high‑quality team?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well‑established values‑led organisation that delivers care, education and therapy to children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Mild Learning Difficulties (MLD).

You’ll work closely with an experienced Registered Manager helping to shape a safe supportive environment and lead your team in delivering exceptional outcomes for children and young people.
