Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to the staff team.
  • Oversee rota management, supervisions, audits, and contribute to recruitment.
  • Work in partnership with education and therapeutic professionals.

Skills

Deputy Manager Childrens Residential Home

Location : Sunderland

Provision : Childrens Residential Home (Ages 717 EBD & Mild Learning Difficulties) Brand-New Home for an Established Provider

Hours : 48 hours per week days only rolling rota (youll oversee the rota including your own shifts) sleeps required

Salary : 38600 per annum

About the Role

Are you a Senior Residential Support Worker looking to step up or an experienced Deputy Manager searching for a new challenge

This is an exciting opportunity to join a values-driven organisation that combines care education and therapy to support children with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Mild Learning Difficulties (MLD) .

Working alongside a highly experienced Registered Manager youll play a pivotal role in leading a strong motivated team creating a safe and nurturing environment and ensuring the very best outcomes for young people.

What Were Looking For
  • Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young Peoples Workforce (or equivalent)
  • Experience as a Deputy Assistant Manager or Senior RSW in an Ofsted-regulated childrens home
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding childcare legislation and leadership responsibilities
  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence (essential)
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and confident IT skills
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to the staff team
  • Oversee rota management supervisions audits and contribute to recruitment
  • Work in partnership with education and therapeutic professionals to deliver holistic support
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with children families external agencies and Ofsted
