A caring organization in Leigh is seeking a Deputy Manager for their Children’s Residential Home. The ideal candidate should have a Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People’s Workforce and experience in a leadership role within residential childcare. This position involves leading a team to deliver exceptional care and support, with a focus on children facing emotional and behavioral difficulties. Location: Leigh
Provision: Children’s Residential Home (Ages 7–17, EBD & Mild Learning Difficulties) - This is a New Home for an Established Provider
Hours: 48 hours per week, days only, rolling rota (you will manage the rota, including your own shifts) - Sleep will be required
Salary: £38,600 per annum
Are you an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker or Deputy Manager ready to step up and lead a high-quality team? You’ll work closely with an experienced Registered Manager, helping to shape a safe, supportive environment and lead your team in delivering exceptional outcomes for children and young people.
This provider operates between 12 children's homes and offers integrated education, therapeutic, and residential care services. With a strong Ofsted “Good” track record, they’re expanding services to meet the needs of both EBD and LD children and care leavers.
