Job summary

A family-run nursery group in York and North Yorkshire is seeking a Deputy Manager to help ensure smooth daily operations at the nursery. This role requires building trusting relationships with families, guiding the nursery team, and ensuring children's wellbeing through effective leadership and compliance with the EYFS. Qualifications

• Level 3 or higher UK recognised early years qualification required.
• Excellent understanding of EYFS framework essential.
• Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the nursery operations alongside the manager.
• Build relationships with families and outside agencies for child support.
• Guide the nursery team and ensure children are kept safe.

What a Deputy Manager needs
