Kids Planet Torwood House is seeking a Deputy Manager to join our team. You will work alongside the nursery manager to keep daily operations running smoothly, foster warm relationships with families, and ensure every child’s growth and wellbeing through strong EYFS delivery.

The role emphasizes safeguarding, leadership, and delivering high-quality early years provision in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Formación

• Must be at least Level 3 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification.
• Excellent understanding of EYFS.
• Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.
• Leadership experience within a nursery setting.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the manager in running the nursery day to day.
• Build warm, trusting relationships with families and collaborate with external agencies.
• Guide and support the nursery team and ensure children's safety and EYFS delivery.
• Provide leadership in the absence of the nursery manager.

How you’ll make a difference as a Deputy Manager:

Through working alongside the manager to help with all areas of running the nursery, making sure everything runs smoothly day to day.

By building warm, trusting relationships with families and work together with outside agencies to support each child’s growth and wellbeing.

Guiding and support the nursery team, keeping children safe at all times and bringing the EYFS to life in a way that’s fun, engaging, and meets all requirements.

What a Deputy Manager needs:

Must be at least Level 3 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification.

Excellent understanding of EYFS.

Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.

Leadership experience within a nursery setting.
