Salary: Grade I, SCP 35 £46,142 - SCP 37 £48,226

Hours Per Week: 36 hours per week

Base Location: Children’s Home, Dukinfield

We are looking for a Deputy Manager for a busy children’s home that provides 24-hour care within Children’s Residential Services. You will be working in a Children’s Home caring for young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs, and supporting the staff team alongside the Registered Manager.

36 Hours a week, with on call duties, as part working rota that covers, evenings, weekend, Bank Holidays and UK holidays

It is important that you have a passion for working with young people and supporting young people to reach their potential as well as, leading, supporting and developing the staff team.

  • NVQ level 5 (or willing to work towards this)

Whilst qualification to Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services is an advantage, we accept and encourage applications from candidates who do not hold this qualification.

We will support you to complete the qualification on starting in the role. The qualification will equip you with knowledge and skills to help you succeed in this role and must be completed within 2 years.
