Job description

Domus are looking for a Deputy Manager based in Sittingbourne to join a highly reputable charity that supports adults with Learning Disabilities.

As the Deputy Manager, you will lead a team of dedicated care workers in providing person-centered care and support to adults with Learning Disabilities in Supported Living accommodation.

We’re looking for someone with proven leadership skills and hands-on experience within the Health and Social Care sector, ideally experienced supporting adults with Learning Disabilities.

Registered Manager responsibilities :
  • Ensure the team provides safe, sound & supportive care to the people they support.
  • Be a role model to your team & provide effective leadership & management.
  • Work with multi-disciplinary teams, family members, local authorities & regulatory bodies to deliver a high-quality service & promote a positive culture.
  • Meet quality targets to ensure the service is providing the best support & care possible.
The ideal candidate will have :
  • Hold a level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) or willingness to undertake.
  • Statutory guidance & CQC regulations exposure.
  • Complex health needs, Learning Disabilities and Autism.
  • Managing, assessing new people to support and mentoring experience.
  • Resilient, calm and able to work under pressure.
  • Effective verbal and written communication and able to produce written reports.
  • Hold a full UK driving license.
