Deputy Manager - 2 bedded Children's Residential Home

£28,828.40 - £38,438.40 per annum, plus £52 per sleep

Hours

Full-time, Permanent

Shifts

3 x 12 hour shifts plus sleeps

Deputy Manager candidates can choose between a 36 hour, 40 hour or 48 hour permanent contract.

Brook Street Social Care, in proud partnership with a respected children's residential care provider in Manchester, is recruiting for experienced and dedicated Deputy Managers to join their compassionate and expanding team.

About the Role

As a Deputy Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting young people with EBD needs in a safe, children centred and structured environment. You will offer support with a team of residential support workers, ensuring the highest quality of care is consistently delivered while promoting positive outcomes for the children and young people in your care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, support and mentor staff teams throughout the home
  • Support young people in care with day to day duties and independence.
  • Ensure all safeguarding, compliance, and quality standards are met
  • Support the development and implementation of individual care plans
  • Build trusting relationships with children, families, and professionals
Requirements
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience as a Deputy Manager or Team Leader ready for the step up within a children's residential provision.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A genuine passion for making a difference in young people's lives
  • Ability to work flexibly, including nights, evenings, weekends, and sleep-in shifts
  • Driver with access to own car
