Deputy Manager – Children’s Residential Care

Location : Leyland, Lancashire

Hours : Full-time, 40 hours per week (including days, evenings, nights, weekends, bank holidays, sleep‑ins, and lone working)

Salary : £35,000 per year

About the Role

We’re looking for a caring, confident, and motivated Deputy Manager to join our team in Leyland. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the lives of children and young people, supporting them to grow, achieve, and thrive in a safe and nurturing environment.

As Deputy Manager, you’ll work closely with the Registered Manager and Assistant Manager to make sure the home runs smoothly day to day. You’ll lead by example, support staff development, and ensure high standards of care that meet Ofsted regulations and put young people at the heart of everything we do.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Supporting the Registered Manager with the daily running of the home and staff team.
  • Helping to recruit, train, and supervise staff to deliver excellent care and support.
  • Developing and reviewing care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour management strategies.
