A children's residential care provider in Leeds seeks a Deputy Manager to lead and manage the home. This role requires a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare and at least 2 years of experience in a similar environment. The Deputy Manager will ensure high standards of care and support staff in delivering effective interventions for young people with mental health needs. Competitive salary with additional pay for weekends and sleep-ins.

Salary : 16 per hour Time & 1 / 3 for Weekends 70 per sleep. Takeinclsuive of sleeps
Service : Childrens Home
Service Users : Mental Health age 10 to 17 on Admission
Qualifications Required : Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or Equivalent
Experience in Years Required : Minimum 2 Years within a Childrens Residential ideally EBD or Mental Health

You will have a sound knowledge of and experience in :
Previous experience as a Key Worker for a Young Person
Understanding policies and legislations such as the 9 Standards SCIFF Reg 40 Reg 45
As Deputy Manager you must lead and manage the home in the absence of the Registered Manager. You will support Residential Support Workers (RSWs) and Seniors / Team Leaders to be ambitious for every child and help them achieve their potential. You will ensure the home maintains its high standard of care resources and opportunities in line with the homes Statement of Purpose.
