Location: Leyland, Lancashire
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (including days, evenings, nights, weekends, bank holidays, sleep‑ins, and lone working)
Salary: £35,000 per year

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Registered Manager with the daily running of the home and staff team.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff to deliver outstanding care.
  • Develop and review care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour management strategies.
  • Manage budgets, petty cash, and administrative tasks.
  • Promote safeguarding and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
  • Build strong relationships with young people, families, schools, and professionals.
  • Act as Deputy in the Manager's absence and participate in the on‑call rota.
About You
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in children's residential care.
  • Qualified to or working towards Level 3 or Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding responsibilities.
  • Compassionate, resilient, and committed to achieving positive outcomes for young people.
  • Flexible to work shifts, including sleep‑ins and weekends.
