Salary: Starting from £35,000 per year

Are you a dedicated and experienced care professional looking to take the next step in your career? My client has a well‑established and highly regarded care home, located near Hythe in Kent, is seeking a passionate and motivated Deputy Manager to join their leadership team.

About the Role

As Deputy Manager, you will support the Home Manager in the day‑to‑day running of the service, ensuring high‑quality care, strong team performance, and excellent outcomes for our residents. You will act as a role model for best practice and help drive continuous improvement across the home.

Key Requirements
  • Proven deputy management experience within a care home setting
  • Strong background working in a residential or nursing care home
  • NVQ Level 3 or above in Health & Social Care (preferred)
  • Solid understanding of dementia care and person‑centred approaches
  • Good working knowledge of CQC standards and compliance
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Strong people management abilities, with a supportive and motivational approach
  • A genuine passion for care and a commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for residents
