Job summary

Reporting to the Registered Manager, you will ensure services comply with legislation and policies, deputise when needed, manage budgets, and contribute to branch reviews and strategic planning, delivering high-quality care across

• Previous experience in a regulated care environment.
• Registered with SSSC (Scotland only)
• Knowledge of Health and Social Care Act
• A leader, capable of leading a team and overseeing budgets
• Experience leading a multidisciplinary team and working with service users with additional support needs

Responsibilities

• Be accountable to the Registered Manager and support expansion.
• Ensure services meet legislation, safeguarding procedures and local policies.
• Deputise for the Registered Manager when required.
• Attend partnership meetings with the housing team.
• Liaise with local authorities, social workers and other third parties and manage branch operations.
• Provide reports to management and commissioners within agreed timescales.
• Attend branch review meetings with senior managers.

Job description

We are looking for a passionate leader to support the growth and development of our branch and as an extension of our Cera family. Responsibilities:

• Accountable to the Registered Manager, subject to review in line with any future expansion of the organisation.
• To ensure services are delivered within the current legislation framework statutory guidance, Cera Care policies and procedures and local authority safeguarding procedures.
• To deputise for and support the Registered Manager, as and when required.
• Attend Shared partnership meetings with the housing team.
• To liaise with local authorities, social workers and other third parties., To ensure the smooth and efficient day-to-day management of the care operation, incorporating the direct line management for a team of Coordinators in the branch. Ultimate responsibility for all Care and Team Leaders employed within the care operation.
• .To provide/produce reports and information as requested by the management team/personnel and Commissioners within agreed timescales
• To attend and input in all branch review meetings held with senior managers.

Previous experience working in a regulated care environment is a must.

Qualifications

• Registered with SSSC (Scotland only)
• Someone compliant with the knowledge of the Health and Social Care Act
• A leader, someone comfortable leading a team and overseeing budgets.
• Knowledge of leading a team and working within a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Experience of working with Service Users who have additional support or complex needs.
• A leader with a passion for delivering excellent care to a high standard.
