The Deputy Manager role at Avery Healthcare is a crucial position that supports the General Manager in operating a compliant and effective person-centred care home. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing inspirational leadership, ensuring high-quality care, and meeting commercial performance targets. The role requires a minimum of two years' experience in a similar management position, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a commitment to living the organization's values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable.
As the Deputy Manager, your focus will be to support the General Manager in running a compliant and effective person-centred care home that provides a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for residents and their visitors. This will involve responsibilities such as providing ongoing inspirational leadership and management to the staff team, ensuring medication policies and procedures are adhered to, monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, and completing monthly audits and quality reports. You will also be expected to attend weekly clinical meetings and monitor clinical risk areas in the home.
