Qualifications

Job description

We are looking for a Cleaning Deputy Manager to support the Account Lead in managing a large transport contract based at St Pancras with travel to Stratford, Ebbsfleet, and Singlewell. You will manage a team of 5 Duty Managers to ensure cleaning standards are met and maintained to the highest level. No two days will be the same. When you're dealing with people there's never a dull moment, and you'll use your strong interpersonal skills to support and develop your team.

Responsibilities
  • Directly manage Duty Managers within the account to ensure cleaning standards are met and maintained to the highest level.
  • Ensure development, support, mentoring and effective performance of direct reports, in line with company standards.
  • Carry out ad-hoc and regular activity such as projects, reports, audits as required and to support the Account Lead.
  • Manage key (high profile/value) accounts within the operating region, including staffing level, subcontracts, and training staff in Health & Safety and updating records.
  • Ensure that all contractual KPI's are achieved.

Qualifications
  • Previous client management and people management skills.
  • Working knowledge of Health and Safety systems in the cleaning industry with the ability to train staff.
  • Computer literate with the ability to effectively use the Microsoft Office package and databases.
  • Able to drive / travel to different sites where required.
  • Willing to work unsocial hours as necessary.
  • NEBOSH qualification.
  • A satisfactory Enhanced DBS disclosure.
  • A full, clean driving licence – desirable.
