A care service provider in Glasgow is seeking a Deputy Home Manager to lead clinical care and support in the absence of the Home Manager. The ideal candidate will provide expert nursing support, supervise staff, and ensure compassionate care for residents. Candidates must hold a valid NMC Pin and have a background in person-centred care. As a Deputy Home Manager you will ensure the level of clinical care we offer goes beyond professional standards, statutory, regulatory and legal requirements. This means providing specialist nursing support and advice, taking responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager’s absence, and supervising and coaching colleagues to provide a service that is unparalleled in its empathy for resident issues.
Valid NMC Pin, knowledge of National Standards and the NMC code of practice. Background in person-centred care planning within a care home. Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, keep meaningful records and communicate with residents and colleagues in a considerate and kind manner. Completion of safeguarding training appropriate to the role.
