Job Summary

As a Deputy Home Manager, you’ll be ensuring clinical care exceeds professional standards, statutory, regulatory and legal requirements. This includes providing specialist nursing support and advice, taking responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager’s absence, and supervising/coaching colleagues to deliver a service unparalleled in its empathy for resident issues.

Job Responsibilities

The key duties are the same as described in the job summary: providing specialist nursing support and advice, assuming responsibility for resident care when the Home Manager is absent, and supervising/coaching staff to maintain high standards of resident care and empathy.

About You

We’re looking for a Deputy Home Manager with a valid NMC Pin, knowledge of National Standards, the NMC Code of Practice, and experience in person‑centred care planning within a care home. You should have a positive, energetic approach, strong mentoring and time‑management skills, keep accurate records, and communicate with residents and colleagues in a considerate and kind manner.
