Job summary

Matrix Academy Trust is seeking an exceptional deputy headteacher for Bloxwich Academy Primary. This non-teaching leadership post focuses on teaching and learning quality, monitoring and evaluating outcomes, and driving school improvement across the whole school.

You will work with the Headteacher to strengthen classroom practice, provide coaching and feedback, and ensure high expectations and excellent teaching throughout the school. This senior role deputises when required.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of driving school improvement and improving outcomes for pupils.
• Deep understanding of effective teaching and learning and translating this into practice.
• Experience evaluating teaching, curriculum implementation and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead whole-school monitoring and quality assurance with assessment data.
• Provide high-quality feedback, coaching and support to teachers and leaders.
• Shape strategic direction of the school and deputise for the Headteacher when required.
