The Holden School is inviting an exceptional Deputy Headteacher with a passion for inclusive education and collaborative leadership to join our senior leadership team. You will work closely with the Headteacher to deliver outstanding education for children and young people with complex needs in a supportive, inclusive, and high‑performing school community.
The Holden School is an independent specialist day school for boys and girls aged 5 to 16, located in Leigh, Lancashire. The school caters for pupils with a wide range of needs across the Greater Manchester area. Our therapeutic‑led, trauma‑informed approach provides individualised curricula delivered by dedicated teams of teachers, pastoral staff and therapists. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of all pupils, and we work closely with families, professionals and regulatory bodies to achieve the best possible outcomes.
The school offers a 4‑day working week trial, allowing you to work one day less each week (or equivalent hours) while retaining full-time pay. 4DWW is subject to successful completion of probation and is not a contractual benefit. You will still work 100 % of your contractual hours for 100 % of your pay.
