Mayfield School invites an exceptional leader to become Deputy Headteacher and Head of Chestnut, our dedicated SEMH provision in South Devon. You will shape the next chapter for Chestnut while contributing to Mayfield School's strategic direction and development.

We seek a calm, relational, trauma-informed leader who can uphold high expectations, nurture staff, and secure excellent teaching, curriculum and outcomes for vulnerable learners.

Competenze

• Experience leading SEMH provision and whole-school strategies.
• Proven track record of school improvement and safeguarding.
• Ability to develop curriculum and staff through complex change.

Mansioni

• Lead Chestnut culture, development and day-to-day leadership.
• Oversee teaching quality, curriculum, assessment and pupil progress.
• Safeguarding, attendance and behaviour management across the provision.
• Develop staff and build strong partnerships with families and agencies.
• Represent Mayfield across the wider school at senior leadership level.
