The skills and experience we're looking for
  • An outstanding classroom practitioner who is able to lead curriculum development throughout school.
  • An interest in research‑driven approaches and a thirst to keep up to date with the ever‑changing educational landscape.
  • Someone who has been a Deputy Head previously or currently, had experience of deputising or has a skill set that supports the job role of Deputy Head.
  • A proven track record of leadership that has led to significant outcomes.
  • A caring, hardworking and enthusiastic leader with a positive approach that will inspire all those around you.
  • Commitment to foster links with parents and our wider community.
  • Desire to work effectively with the school’s governing body.
  • Committed to the safeguarding and wellbeing of everyone.
  • To quality assure inclusion for everyone.
  • An ability to use data to assist in next steps.
  • Knowledge of the importance of GDPR and Cyber security.
